Because in a week or so I'll give Doan something he can make good use of. After that, I'll be looking forward to some good demos from fellow RPG Maker 2 users.

You're so cryptic BK. I'd love to put out a demo of my new 2D project, but I've got to resist the temptation. At any rate, that game's coming along fine. Better than I had imagined so far. Ahh, to bring the glory days of 2D back with RPGM2... ;D

It'll be like my last demo but with the huge renovations to the music. I only have 2 left to do. It's more of a 'look what I've done' kind of demo than 'playable'.

I don't know if you noticed, but I have a new mini-game "Waitressing" on the site now. I have had one very positive review so far, so I think you will enjoy it.

I'm not releasing any demos, but I will be putting out a file soon with my first workup of a continent for Doan's collaboration project. I'll also be releasing a file with my Map Editor Guide showing the techniques used in the guide. No game related stuff though, that's still a long time off I'm afraid.

DW, I'll try your mini-game soon. I hope to moisten the dry spell soon myself though.

I didn't think you needed the disk to use the Max Drive unless you have an older PC (Win 85 or before). Win XP will read the Max Drive like any other memory card.

When I release a demo, that will be it before the actual project is finished. It will probably include one or two towns and the first dungeon. This is because I want the player to enjoy my game as a full one rather than many different segments.
Besides, most major gaming companies practice this pattern as well.

What do you mean? The following is what I was referring to. What do you mean by "something he can make good use of"?

You don't need the Max Drive PC disc to use the USB drive. However, you do need the PS2 disc. And I wanted to keep it a surprise Jugem. It is a RPG Maker 2 demo though. Although, I'm not too sure if the public will be playing it.

It's not the PC disc, it's the PS2 Boot disc that runs on the PS2 to let you get files from your Max Drive.
Next time I get a new one, I'm burning a second copy just in case.
