Yeah, I know I misspelled "you're" but "ur" fits. Please don't think I can't spell.
Okay, so this is a question for my Monkey Brothers game. In case you didn't know, Monkey Brothers is NOT for RPG MAKER 2 but for RPG Maker 1. However, I still need some feedback.

Personally I think it looks better if you can see some of the outside when you are inside a building but I wouldn't be too disappointed if I couldn't see the outside. Many professional RPGs don't show the outside so I'm use to not seeing it. On the other hand, seeing the outside helps make the place feel more real.
It's your choice, but show the outside if you can. That's my vote anyway.

Well, yeah, I agree with you. I'm done with the interiors for my big town in Monkey Brothers. Which, they all show some of the outside. However, there might be a point where showing the outside from the inside might have to stop (due to the limitations).

I haven't posted yet because I don't really have an opinion on this matter.

Either have some of the outside shown, or don't at all, don't suddenly stop in the middle of the game for memory reasons. As for my opinion, it doesn't matter to me if you show the outside or not, as long as the music still kind of fills you in on if it is a happy place, or a dungeon setting.
