I'm sure most people have thought about this idea, and while it has its draw backs (mostly the images are harder to see), you can have a image with multiple images on it. The concept is: Take the pictures you want, display them in a VFX, but make them display so that NONE of them overlap if they were connected (idk why, but 2 different 2D VFXs don't work on RPGMw).
After you made the VFXs of the images, (remember, making them as big as possible to cover the screen while not overlapping helps image quality), display them in a Action script, and take a snapshot, delete all former images, and viola, all of them are compressed into 1. I had the idea of making a Yu Gi Oh (card cartoon series) game, and figured I could use this method to make more cards by compressing the images.
