OK first things first... Splunge means Yes. Or No. But I'm not being indecisive! (Watch more Monty Python!) Anyway, there is already a collaboration going on with this cow: It was created between Bigfoot and myself. Mickey Runey (Sorry, when people keep changing their names I just cant help myself! Ask Smurf!) is making a Cowntinent (as soon as I find my max drive disc). So would anyone want to partake in such an effort? Theories as to how it can be done are welcome. I am leaning heavily toward the Moovie because it would be easy to do in the campfire game tradition where people just make more after the previous person finishes. Who knows how long such a "cut scene" would run? But it would be fun. However, it is not my way to force my will on a group effort. So I ask for suggestions. If you have trouble with cut scenes this could be a perfect opportunity to learn! The only rule I would impose from the start would be no messing around with other people's work. Any other suggestions or comments are welcome. Thanks for voting. Peace.

I think that would be alot fun, either game or movie would be sweet. But if it was a movie it HAS to have a major cliche'd plot, but replaced with farm animals and the cow as the man who got framed for murder or what not.

Well, as the old campfire game went, anybody could do anything with any character on their turn.
It just went around the circle until you got bored or the beer ran out or whatever.
This would have a definite limit (based on memory usage). But apart from that it could go anywhere at all!
Anyone who wanted to do away with the previous plot so theirs could be done could simply have a character wake up saying "Oh! What a terrible dream!" and take it in a new direction. Which could be restored to the previous story with an equally bad excuse by the next person.
Is fun.
Peace.

I think THAT would be alot of fun, and would be funny to see what everyone can come up with.

A campfire movie idea sounds pretty good. I don't know if I'd have time to get involved but I would be fun to see that the final movie looked like.

I'll do a few scenes. I think it may work better if we somehow at least partly go with each others' stories (instead of cutting them off suddenly). We'd get much crazier stuff. I also have two songs I'm not using and those Ocarina tunes that could be used by you guys (2 songs will appear on first demo of my new game).

I only mentioned the possibility of changing everything to keep it open ended. You would not believe where some of our Old Hippy campfire stories went. Especially if the right mushrooms were growing nearby (there are many in the mountains of Pennsylvania!). I have seen your cutscenes and look forward to your participation. I still have not cast my vote, though I already said I would prefer it be a movie. I just do not see how a collaborative game could be made to work (too much planning ahead is needed for a good game). So,... Who are our unknown voters? Ya can't participate if we don't know who you are! Peace.

I meant the people who voted, but did not post.
If they wish to remain anonymous for a while (or forever even), that's fine.
I just noticed a couple more votes than people who posted and wondered.
Peace.

The many problems of the english language takes an effect on me, so I often make mistakes of misunderstanding of what poeple say, do to a couple of words that mean many. Maybe my vocab is too big.

About my cowntinent . . . I was wondering, do you just want an image of a cow or do need an actual explorable place? I can do either, but it's best to know before hand.
Mickey Runey - Good one!

The Cowntinent can go either way. If making explorable land precludes a good display (or vice versa) then stick with one or the other (or both) (it's an open ended collaboration... As Satan would say "Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of The Law" except, of course, for the previously stated bit about altering other peoples' work).
I found the Max Disc, so now just have to do the transfer to a zip file and send it along!
It should be there by tonight (this morning if I can get enough other work done first).
So I guess I'll get to it.
And the Mickey Runey joke came while listening to my Animaniacs CD. Remember The Universe Song? The chorus goes "It's a Great Big Universe, And we're all really puny, We're just tiny little specks, About the size of Mickey Rooney, It's big and black and inky, And we are small and dinky, It's a big Universe, And we're not."
Anyway, the Mickey Rooney line came on just as I saw one of your name changes and it just seemed to fit.
Peace.

You say that like it's a bad thing.
Read The Book of the SubGenius and learn the true value of Slack!
And I'm going to do the file transfer thing RIGHT NOW!
Expect it in your email very soon!
Peace.

Take your time!
As always, quality is better that quantity and we all know art can't be rushed.
Just have fun with it!
Also, I'm old fashioned and very rarely check my email. Please let me know here when you email so I can be sure to look. I'm lucky if I check it once a month. It's just not part of my routine.
I look forward to whatever you come up with!
Peace.

I chose splunge. I'd love to be a part of a collaborative project (video game or movie is fine with me), but being as I don't have a Max Drive, X-Port, etc. at the moment, I really don't know. It depends on when work on the project launches.
Hopefully if it's by December or beyond, I could be a part of it.

I think every poll needs a Splunge option. Honestly I can't see this being finished anytime soon. I think early next year there will still be as much memory left as needed for many more people to get involved. Right now it is not even started. The Moovie I posted was designed just to show off the Cow Model and his Horn Beams. I gave him the ability to shoot his spots (and even Nostrils) just before I sent the file to The Final Rune for Map making. And it will never be too late! As long as the memory lasts people will be welcome to jump in. Anyone else?
