What do you people do with the programmable "Square Button" script in RPGM2?
I have seen it used for fancy pause buttons, Custom Menus, Attacking in Active Custom Battle Systems, and more.
I used it in The Clean Underwear Quest to, mute the music; hide the party; display a spinning Yin-Yang symbol on the invisible leader; plunge the party way into the ground and turn the camera up at the sky (now the ground) for a weird pause effect that is different everywhere you use it.
In Videogamedrome it initiates an attack for a pseudo active battle system.
My first idea for it was scrapped. It just made random silly noises.
I'd like to know what other things people do with this.
Peace.

In Josaigdan, I have used it for many reasons, like jumping, changing camera, but now its just the menu button.

I use it to call summons outside of battle. Once you become a Summoner that is. It works really well.

In Plasma Dreams, it brings up a CMS. In my newly announced game, it's for saving(since I put every other custom option in the DMS, thank goodness for the system generate variable!).

In Zelda, it performs an action based off of your item equiped. In Farm Life, it opens the CMS, in LSF, it does nothing (I don't need a CMS or anything, really). Maybe I'll have psuedo menu with weird options or something, we'll see.

To be honest, this is going to be the most serious game I have and plan on ever doing. I don't know why, but I feel obligated to make a story based off of my life. (who knows, maybe it'll help myself with various things.) But thanks for the welcoming of the idea

In my game, I use it to warp the party to a Custom Menu, but to the player, it pretty much looks like the menu is just being brought up.
