I would like for you guys to listen to some of the music I've composed for my game Deston Chronicles(http://doansdomain.proboards27.com/index.cgi?board=creative&action=display&thread=1139523790) I would like feedback regarding how it is. Repetitive, not catchy...etc. I would like to post the music here but I can't find out how to post attachments here. So for now, I'll just email it to you guys. If you guys are willing to listen to it, then give me your email and I will email it to you. Thank you! Oh yeah, and I'll throw in the song from FF10 because its pretty cool. And I'll throw in the Magus fight from Chrono Trigger. Just as a bribe

I'll definitely look forward to it. Considering the fact that you were able to script Magus's theme, it seems that you're quite skilled in music.

Thanks! ;D
Currently I'm working on a peice called Malokite. Its evil...ight.
Any requests for songs? Soft songs. Loud songs. Evil, happy, or neutral songs? Anything at all and I'll see what I can come up with.

This song is now up in the Video/Audio section of the Hosted Materials page. I think the song sounds pretty good, with a few exceptions. Some parts are a little too silent (about 1/3 of the way through?) and could benefit from some kind of drum-style beat or something. Another problem was that the song wasn't all that consistent... I liked the last half of the song a lot, but it didn't really seem to match what you had going on at the beginning. Finally, it seemed to end abruptly, but perhaps you have some kind of loop planned to remedy that. All in all, what you have is good and has potential. Nice work.

Thanks. Yeah, it was supposed to be a loop. Its not a good song at all but it was the first one I made so hopefully now I'm a lot better. Thanks for taking the time to put it up.

I finally took the time to listen to this!
Nicely done.
I need to look into the Music Script Making program. I have such a hard time rendering what is in my head into something decent that I might just see how good a tool that thing is.
I had a hard time even making the original Star Trek theme for The Boobyprize!
But custom music really stands out in a game.
Great work.
Keep it up.
Peace.

Its ok. Be critical. I need to know what to improve on.
I got another song coming up soon called Malokite. If you want to hear it, give me your email addresses and I'll send it to you. I don't want to bother doan with all this stuff and I think it would be easier this way.
Thanks!

Some things didn't seem quite western harmonic. Like the key signature. I know there can always be incidentals/accidentals or w-e they are but try to keep with a key signature OR have a key signature change somewhere through the song if you need. It sounds pretty good anyways for the most part. Yeah there was some over pausing in the song. But pretty good.

Ok, cool Nash. I'll try to do that. But I don't think I did it too well with my next piece because I finished it before I got this message. The song Malokite is now complete. If you would like to hear it, either ask me to email it to you, or hopefully Doan will be kind enough to put it up.
Ok, thanks guys. Peace out.

Sorry for the double post. I just wanted to tell you that my new song "True Power" will be up soon, hopefully. So keep checking daily if you want to hear it. I'd say the piece itself will be finished in 2 days. Then it'll come up whenever Doan feels like posting it.
For some reason, the only pieces I've posted on here with are strings. But I barely ever compose with them.

I'll be back in Columbus on Saturday night, but until then, I don't have access to my computer, including my website's e-mail and ftp, so updates are impossible at the moment.
