Alright, I am picking up RPG Maker 2 again after a little break because I ended up erasing my game accidently twice. But now I'm finally back. But I realized the stories that I created were too dull and wouldn't make for a very cool adventure, so I decided to come up with a new adventure, look, story, everything.
The problem is I have no idea where to begin. I know I want the story to deal with corruption.
Any ideas on where to begin?
Thanks in advance!

I actually already have a neat story that is along those lines. Someone needed some help with an idea, and so I added a bunch of etails, but I told them that if they didn't use it, then I would. So here it is:
There is a village somewhere, and a trusted man of the village has a vision that it is in for a rocky future. Create a way in which the future somehow "casts its shadow" on the present through certain objects that the player will have to seek out. The first part of the quest would consist of seeking and obtaining various things like this, as the player is on a quest to see what the future holds and how they can avoid their future troubles.
Then, and you would have to come up with how to do this, perhaps while searching for a certain object or something, a gateway somehow opens to the future that the player goes through. He then sees that the the prophesy has come true, that the village is now nothing but the king and his people, who are treated like slaves and subject to cruel mistreatment. The surprise climax is... (the rest was pm'd to you).
This game could involve some form of corruption (although that's not the emphasized them), and it opens up the possibility for a few plot twists and multiple endings.

I am VERY Visually Oriented.
When making stuffs with RPGM2, I generally begin with graphics.
Character models (picking and recoloring until something jumps out of the screen and tells me it's story!) (Yes, It Happens!!).
Maps (environments can tell their own stories too!).
And my favorite bit about RPGM2 - The Visual Effects Editor! (see the guide linked to in my signature!!!!) (I made the Starship Enterprise without even thinking about it! It just happened!!).
Even recoloring Monsters tends to suggest stuffs to me.
When that fails, I paint.
I take a Very ZEN approach, but I have fun.
And Beer helps (if you are of age!).
Good Luck with it.

Thanks Doan for the story. I made a name that may seem confusing now but it will make sense when you actually play the game.
Its called The Dratorian Bend.
Screenshots coming soon!
Thanks again to Doan!

It seems that you've solved your problem. However, for the future, if you want to create a story, here's what you should try. Take something or someone you love and use that as an idea to create a story. For one of my games, I'm using my hometown as one of the major towns in the game (and it plays a key role in the story).
I think what also helps is to view the people, things, events, and places in your game like those in real life. Think of the main character's girlfriend as your own girlfriend. That moment in the game when one of your party members betrays you is just like that time in real life when one of your best friends did the same.
If you do this, you'll feel the pain, the happiness...everything that you want your characters to feel. If you can feel the same emotion that your character feels when something happens, it will be believable.

Thanks Dark Samurai. I'll keep that in mind for my next game. I have had a ton of moments(and I'm sure everyone has) that I could use in my game. And there is betrayal in my game so I'll try to do something similar to what a friend did to me...or what I did to a friend. Anyway, I created a new site for my game. Its not much yet, but later I'll add and change the template, coloring, everything. But right now I'm just not in the mood to do all that work so I'll finish the site later. www.freewebs.com/rpgmaker2games/
