By the Pagan Pothead Inc. (my personal gaming ego and sorry to offend anyone) is a game called Fantasy Revolution: The New Theory. It's a sequal to a game I made on RPG Maker 1. The original was about a guy you started with named Nerus Sentia (my title for anywhere i go or do) who is a bounty hunter and you are given missions and quests by citizens. One quest later on is a deep one where you go to this abandoned worship ground to recover a chasm. Upon entering you see a flashback from the eyes of someone else. Later on in the cahtedral you run into a person who is half demon and half angel. He speaks to you and when you beat him he realizes who you are, an experiment (explains why character had no family relations) and that you are in fact a very powerful being. So the main character goes into denial, but finds out he can cause loads of destruction all alone so he goes insane and with pure hate leaves the party to try and exterminate the human race to make room for others like himself. He killed a whole civilation of friendly undead and the survivors grow furious and go after him. Later on after fighting him as his closest childhood friend he realizes what he has done and goes good. He looks back and sees his own village burning because of him so he goes and recuses those he loved. After the evacuation and telling everyone but himself to go he is attacked by and leader of the undead and killed. Upon death he makes a with to come back and repent for what he has done. The guy who killed him promised they'd meet in another life time and Nerus dies then the credits role.
This game takes place 671 years later. You start off as a pirate named Reman Vaige who is escaping from prison for hijacking an airship, but he got busted. Before the game ever begins though you see clips of what happened at the end of the previous game, but in RPGM2 graphics. Reman escapes half dead and goes back to town to find refuge. When getting back to Styl Village he speaks to Fange (this lady he is having relations with and the heros mother) to find Nerus Sentia (surprisingly enough they are similarly name meaning only one thing... figure it out) to help Reman hide. When entering the sewers of Styl they run into Liutenant Wyrm, an undead who seemed to have a kind of liking to Nerus even though you fight him. After fighting him you get a flashback of someone from a while ago named after our hero who attacks Wyrm and kills him making him one of the undead. Nerus has no recall of this and tries to figure out. They leave the sewers and find a ghost town where everyone is dead. Lots of flashbacks here. After all that Nerus talks about a town he heard called Philgaia and there he can figure out what is going on. You see the title screen after that and the game actually begins.
Sorry for the long explanation, but I thought it'd help in the understanding of the game series. I made other games, but this is my only traditional RPG game. Theres a tools system like in Wild Arms, a scroll system to learn magic, classes for stats, clothing, and such. The quest system I took out from the original only because it wouldn't fit in. If I get RPGM3 theres a small chance I'll reimplement the mission system.
