Hey, thanks for all the clicks. I really do appreciate it. Yeah, it sucks that on the Game Details page, because I mention mountains, it talks about taking vacations in the mountains. Likewise, anywhere I mention demos, it wants to talk about web demos. I'll try to change the front page so that it shows more stuff about RPGs.
As for where we currently stand on the ads, they received 40 clicks yesterday for a total of $6.15. In one week, there have been 97 total clicks resulting in $20.20. This projects to over $1000 per year, which doesn't seem attainable at all, but perhaps it is. At that rate, it looks like everyone will get a Max Drive on the House...
Thanks for the clicks, and look for some changes before too long. I want to take new screenshots.
ooooh I'll click them for you if you get paid for it. What kind of set-up do you have? # of clicks, # of buys, or what?? And I sure could go for a MAX port so.... CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK ;D
Superfluous correlations through Pavlovian conditioning cause cerebral captivity for all of us.
all you have to do is click on the ads. you dont have to buy anythings. just click the ad, let the page load, and hit the back button. its that easy. i dont even read most of them, although some of them have become favorites. (mostly the game ones)

I'm using the ad money (the first $100) to pay for web hosting. Any money beyond that will go towards contests, but one thing I would really like to do is get Max Drives for all the 3-star members (those who don't have some kind of file-uploading system yet), by having them submit their names into a random drawing. I hope to give away enough of these so that there will be no excuse to not enter your games into contests. I'm currently on pace to make about $1000 a year from advertising (just from clicks), so after paying for web hosting and Max Drives, that leaves about $700 just for contests. So keep clicking those ads, and you will get better and better contests with more and more valuable (mostly cash) prizes.
On the subject of updates, I'll be making some kind of update this week. I had two midterms last week which made an update a near-impossibility. I'm going home Wednesday and I'll be gone all weekend, but hopefully I can pop in here and there, and get an update up before that.

Oh, I would definitely have a contest like that at some point, and give plenty of time to finish a game. I also want to have contests that will encourage certain steps of the game creation process, such as interesting background stories, best CBS demo, best custom menu, most unique characters, things like that.
I have to look into the calendar thing and see what's possible.
