happy day for many of you.... Sad day for me, I was a fan of the GC version, not just because link was in it, but because I thought it fit the controller best...... Man, it sux being a gamecube fan, SC2 sold best on GC, so it makes no sense why its a ps2 exclusive....

Sony must've paid them through the roof!  It could also because the stupid 'game discs' limited them from putting (much) more into the game. This is often why I figured they split up Link, Heiachi, and Spawn, because the stupid game disc things suck monkeys. That is very awesome indeed though. I wonder what they have planned for it, perhapd online play  ... |

No, online play was canned, so it still makes no sense, the ps2 version did sell the worst. They should release it for every console again, (I own all 3.) so that great game can be availible to more poeple. Plus if you look at some screenshots, now the game has less polygons than SC2.

The GC version probably sold more because of the inclusion of Link. Almost everyone loves Link. It's like putting your favorite adult film star into the DOA games.

only the kids got it cause of Link. most of them see Link or Mario or any other Nintendo character and go "ooooh Link! I want it!", but that's not the case for most [sensible] people.

Actually, I got it because of Link also.  I'd rather have him than Heihachi or Spawn(plus the GC controls play pretty well, and my GC needed some play time). |

well, yes, link is better than the other two, but getting the game for that sole purpose isn't a good idea. if it's a game you'll want to play, then fine, but don't buy a game you've never heard of or don't even care about just cause a nintendo mascot is on the cover.

Same, though it aint coming out for gc that aint stopping me, especially since theres a new create a character system.

honestly, i think ill be skipping this one. they did a wonderful job on sc2, and it still has my interest. no sense in buying another game that is only slightly different, in my opinion. ill wait, and if sc4 or 5 comes out, i may pick them up. thats just how i am though. i only bought the first budakai too.

create a character would only be cool if you get a good amount of options. if you get really crappy options, then it's worthless.
it is definitely a game i am going to look into further.

The create-a-character is probably going to be stupid. Then again I have no idea. When I hear of somehing like this on Soul Calibur... well... Seems to me like, that you'd probably only have like, 5 options on each part of the body. I dunno, they may pull through and make me eat my words. Who knows?  |

Yeah budoukai 3 is hella better then 1. Although with one exception, there were bigger levels in 1 and more breakthrough places acsescible. But teleportation counter, all forms of freiza. Being super sayin actually doing something instead of just wasting ki. It's a choice I would go with. And from the genorus display of weapons we've seen with SC2 and the massive number of attacks, counter attacks and so on. Not to mention the time they took, something tells me this custom character design will be a hit. Definatly, although I wish Atari would pull through with something like that in the budoukai series.
