I'm posting this so that everyone can share secrets that we've found in the different games that we've played. (I can't stand to play a game and not be sure if I got everything when I beat it)
As for me, I consider myself an expert on everything except the Fur Shops in Final Fantasy Tactics, and decent on Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together, and am willing to answer any questions.
My question is, for anyone who know TO, is it possible to get those four sisters in the end? It seems like every time I play, at least one dies. lol. If there are any other secret characters, let me know too. That's a big reason why I love strategy RPGs.

The secrets in TO:LUCT can be found in the longest FAQ/Walkthrough for it at gamefaqs.com (I don't remember exactly, but I have gotten all 4 sisters together before) The biggest/coolest secret I've found on my own is probably the 'Top Secret Area' in Super Mario World.

you can get all four sisters together. just dont take the (i think) chaos route in chapter four. i think thats right. if you do, two leave. i may have the wrong route though. it may be law.

To get all 4 you have to do all Chaos Chapter (end of ch 1 and ch 2).

Thanks for the info (even if it was a bit off, it's the thought that counts ;D ) Still pissed that Lans ain't a secret character though, played the game three times just to get him.

lol. that reminds me of the april after super smash brothers melee came out. as an april fools joke, one of the game magazines (i think it was gamepro) put out an article that said you could get sonic as a secret character, if you beat 20 levels of that really hard stage (the metalic people that would just keep coming and beat you down). had me and my brother trying to do it for quite some time. you can only imagine our dissapointment when we finally got to level 20, and no sonic.

EGM.
I feel so left out of topics like this. I can't think of any secrets that isn't already at GameFAQs or someone already knows.

I remember that too, but I was rather skeptical of it the whole time (for obvious reasons). EGM/Expert Gamer are sell-outs and (seem) to just promote whoever pays them money.

Sadly they all seem to do that. Even the one's that claim to be unbiased are still products of their marketing. Ads bring in money, not subscription fees. And the mags will do whatever they have to in order to stay in business.

i'm sure many know this already (if you have the strategy guide, you probably do), but in tales of symphonia Genis can learn the coolest tech ever.
once you get the derris emblem you can return to heimdall and talk to the guys fighting and Genis learns Meteor Storm AND gets the Mana Master title.
just thought i'd share this, as it makes a good tech to use in a unison attack. then have Zelos use eruption and Lloyd use beast to do a fiery beast combo.

Zelos? Bleh! I hope by now that people who don't have the strategy guide know that you can get Kratos instead of Zelos. Unfortunately, you need to wait till the end of the game to acutally get him, but I think he's worth it. That's just my opinion though.

"Zelos? Bleh!"
Zelos is cooler than Kratos by so much....

How does one do this?

"Zelos is cooler than Kratos by so much...."
How so? He wears that weird pinkish color... Oh well. I know Zelos has faster attacks, and is probably the better choice, but I just like Kratos, and his character type in general.
Oh, and to get Kratos instead of Zelos, you have to have Kratos like you more than Zelos does. Using those little private skits on the worldmap, you can build your relationship with all the characters. Simply choose which character you like better of the two, and be nice to them, while ticking the other off. You have to accomplish this before that large dungeon where each party member stays behind to clear a path for Lloyd.

"How so?"
because he's a comic relief character, and he looks cooler than Kratos.
"I just like Kratos, and his character type in general"
for some reason, i just don't like this character type (the "silent warrior with mysterious past" type). I was totally NOT surprised when he turned traitor. i actually though Raine was evil at the beginning, with the way she marveled over the exsphere Lloyd gave her in Triet.

Me too. Then you realize that she's like a child in a candy store when it comes to ancient things.
I'm just curious. Anyone who has played the game, is there any difference between Zelos and Kratos? I mean stat-wise. They both learn the same skills (with the exception of Kratos' Judgment skill, which is unreliable since it hits random spots on the screen). I just noticed that Zelos seems faster attacking, so maybe Kratos is stronger, or has better defense? Just a question, since I never bothered to compare the two characters at the same level. I'm an idiot when it comes to new game +. I always end up saving my new game + over the completed file.

Okay. I, myself, liked both Zelos and Kratos the same (both my favorite characters).
Anyway, I had no idea you could get Zelos to stay with you until the end. That gives me a sense of relief because I really liked Zelos. However, it was cool for Kratos to be there in the end of the game. I'm replaying the game to do all the stuff I haven't done yet (customization, skits and events I may have missed, etc.), so, this time, I'll be trying to get Zelos over Kratos.

Yeah... i always ended up playing Zelos when Kratos wasn't in the party. And that one time where both of them join you, I put both in the active team... I don't really hate Zelos. I must say he is my second favorite character. I was just trying to be funny with the whole "bleh" thing. If he didn't wear the pink, his rank would go up so much in my opinion.
Seeing poor Zelos die was a total shock to me when I was going for Kratos. At least if you get Zelos to remain, Kratos will still live, and be an ally, just not a party member.

"Too bad they both turned traitor"
Zelos never turned traitor on me [permanently] and i've beaten the game about four different times. the story always goes [almost] exactly the same every time for me.

Well. If you complete the conditions to get Kratos. Zelos does turn traitor at that point where he fakes you out.

Thanks for ruining the game for me!! (Not really, but you might want to do what Jimmy did and send spoilers in PMs or put a spoiler warning at the tops of your messages. I'll probably never play that game so it doesn't bother me, but other people might not have gotten that far in it yet. )
