For my online work helping my friend with her website, I just got a new (to me) program called Desktop X Pro. It makes Stuffs for Windows Desktops! I'm working on some games! Meanwhile... I Naturally made a Cow that wanders the desktop like those Digital Fishies in Virtual Aquariums. Here: vfxguide.tripod.com/moo.zipI had to put it in a zip folder 'cuz Tripod does not allow downloading of .exe files. I studied the "Fishy" that came with the program to figure out how to make my own work! Have fun... You can run many cows at once and fill your desktop! I set these for "Always On Top" but can make them "Desktop Level" or Layered in order of opening, like other programs. Back to the world of dreams...

Actually the problem is that Tripod doesn't allow remote downloads. You have to copy and paste the web address directly into the URL bar of your browser.
Interesting program. Maybe next time you can make the cow walk around or something. The cow seems to be sitting while she's floating around which looks a little odd.

Hmmmm... I hate web design. I'm on Firefox, and when I click the posted link, a download window opens asking how to proceed. Bizarre!! But the Cow is Cool. Dungeon Warden: The cow is lifted from the video of the cow eating vegetables! It was the only footage I had that would work. I just used mirror images for the opposite direction. That's why it looks awkward when it turns at the right end, but smooth at the left end. What the fluff... Here: www.vidilife.com/video_play_378397_YUMMY_.htmThat's where the cow came from! I still need to add that title you suggested. Gotta getta new computa! Thissun's almost 5 years old and can't handle most newer programs... Poop.

Yes, Tis I "Belching". Who else? www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=0B737B3A5FA03E39There's a yousendit link for the Cow. I read Tripods terms and they do not allow downloading .exe files, so it is removed. Don't wanna lose my site over a Cow! I'll find it a new home. Maybe that one Mr. Bites mentioned recently... Meanwhile, that link will hold us until it finds a home. Peace.

Thanks!
My 'puter has been freezing online lately, and I needed to hit "Control - Alt - Delete" a lot!
So I made the cow a shortcut that does that on a double click!
Since She's "Always On Top" it works nicely!
Fun Stuff...

Thanks for watching the Fluff!
The stop motion is done in the usual stop motion way, except I used a full sized VHS Camcorder! They are all 15 YEARS OLD! I need a new camera!
Glad you liked it.
The animated gif files in my Photos section look a lot better because I could control the timing, but there's no sound!
The Program that made The Cow is from a company called Stardock.
They make all that fancy windows customizing software.
There is a free version of Desktop X, but it does not allow sharing your stuff.
If you want to export, you need the Pro version.
I am still learning all it can do, and the fancy new-fangled VBScript it runs on, but it's not hard.
In fact, I have a game or 2 in the works...
