I don't know I have two games I'm working on one with FF and the other is an Action RPG. I've learned one thing though, I'll probably never get the FF one done because it takes to long, I mean it is preetty much done but I don't want ot put in each and every enemy one by one I know that will take a really long time....

Definatly go with the FFT BS. I remeber years ago when I got FFT I could not put it down. I still play it even to this day. Heck just 2 weeks ago I was playing it... Remeber make sure you have classes and lots of weapons/spells. I would love to play that. Sadly even if you made it I couldn't...... *sniff*

For some reason most of my poems end up funny..... I think I'll post one later on that has to be my funniest. I had to write it in eigth grade. I am trying to make this one serious though.

All right, I need two more "legendary warriors" for my game. I have three one is already made I need two more. So NASH I have a reserved spot for you, so if you could give me character info and a model and stuff. So I need one more just post info about them plaese and I will pick the one I like best. I am looking for a mage, but if I see a good enough one htat isn't I'll take it. Also I would like real names, not online names, such as zoradude......
Now onto the next topic. I was thinking of having a poem in my game. I have already wrote part of it, which people I have showed it too, seem to like it. I was going to make it like a tale people tell children when they are little. You know what I mean. I was wondering? Do you think that is a tad bit Cliched? I haven't seen it in many games, and I was wondering what you thought of it.

Oh and EDIT: Like damn i am poor and can't afford one of those things to d/l games and such. There is so much stuff i wanna play now. 4 days of school then i am out and cross my fingers for a job somewhere, anywhere (i am that desperate around my freaking area)

Ya anyway. Its been soooooooooo long since i ever touched this game and well idk i got a new story idea the other day and figured i would fool around a bit. But i like the idea of an action game atm, but i think i might of forgotten some stuff.
I guess i just wanna make sure i got this Spots might be missing so that is where you fill it in.
For the battle system i need to for one thing set a check. First check the direction of your character. Add any effects fo attacks at this time. Anyway after checking the direction get coordinates of your characters position then if he is facing west, -1 to X coord in the script? etc. for each direction.(can't remember what you do exactly for it, maybe set up varible to save this info to?) Next search for any enemies on the field with the script, then if their X,Y=Spot of attack(that varible) for you then enemy takes damage.
That is just starters for it i guess. I just need to make sure things are correct. Ya no respond my minions er, friends! >.>
EDIT: Freaking A, how do i change the direction of texture on blocks in dungeon editor again? ><

My other question is, is there a way to make the characters stand still when not moving? I know about the Traits, but I'm not sure if I can script that. Well, I may have been able to give you better answers but I haven't touched a script in a while and am kinda rusty. As for this question i can answer. As far as i know it is not possible, but as another post says it may be. Just it would be some of the heavisest scripting and would be more time then it is worth. Your best bet overall is to leave it how it is.

Hmm, now you should help the old zora again. My wal-mart most likely sucks and may not have a max drive, and I type in "max drive" into a gamestop.com search and no products are found. Is this the full name of the item? because i want to finally in my life grab one of these for christmas and play everyone's freaking games like I said i wanted to in the past. So any help on actually me getting one of these would be awesome.

I was burning out on creating abilities and wanted to get back to doing something visual for a change of pace, when I discovered something. I don't know if this is common knowledge, but as one who is always looking for ways to use objects so that they seem to be other objects (artificially increasing the number of objects available) like by burying a giant fountain to make an underground spring, or rotating, resizing, recoloring or overlapping just about anything else for effect. Well, I finally got around to rotating object 100, the Large Clock. The back is a bas-releif type sculpted face! I had no idea. That counts as another object in my book. Resize it, recolor it, and you've got a great wall decoration that was otherwise "hidden" from general view. It could even pass as a wall sculpture in a cave if placed with care. If everybody knew about this, then Oops. But if, as I suspect, there are a few other artsy types out there, and they did not know about this, they would be grateful to know. I know I was pleasantly surprised. Peace. Well....I've never seen it.

Yeah I remeber my first game (blown to heck and back) I got confused when I saw they were together so I went to gamefaqs(want to blow to heck and back) RPGM2 board and asked there. I think BK was probably the one who told me.... Then I got mad knowing I would have to f r e a k i n g d o t h i s e v e r y t i m e !

In an action RPG I mean. Like someone following you around and attacking enemies and such. The only possible thing I could see would make your partner's AI complete crap. Basically I was thinking trying to make the member (which would actually be an event) wandering around randomly and moving to the leader at the same time (I don't know if that is possible or not) then make them slash away randomly checking to see if they hit any enemys.
What is your view on this? Have you tried it or ever thought of trying it?

Is there anyway to get rid of the debug selection in the DMS. I've noticed its gone on Fu-Ma so I should be able to right?
BTW: I'm not talking about the square button thing either.....I'm good with the game, even I know how to get rid of that one....

Hmm? In grandia (2 at least) you level them up by using skill coins (or some kind of coins) not by using them over and over again. The Weapons won't have levels, and as for the fighters, their skills will level up, but I think most of my characters will ahve a little magic any way. The main character has a little bit of light magic and another character is an archer, so I have options there like element shots. Any way I really haven't thought of any characters for the game yet because I'm not that far story wise.

I was thinking about making a variable for each one of the characters speels, and in the spell script that spells var. gets plus 1. Then at the end of the battle I check the total times they ahve used that spell and then if they have used it enough times, they learn a new one. I kinda see a little custimization for characters like that. For example if you use Fire more then you use Heal you would work your way towards a Blk. mage more than a wht. mage. So what do you think?

To Nash: Okay I can't get the Move to party AI to work here is my script
Script branch Repeat Apply together Event-Move to party 25F wait 45F event-effects-spear Apply in order Script Branch end
All that is happening is the event is getting moved to the party. What is wrong?
