[glow=red,2,300]Gilden Hideout[/glow] ITEMS: herb ENEMIES: goblin, gremlin
The game begins in the Gilden Hideout. After the opening cutscene, examine the crate in the east wall to open the secret passage. Leave the cell and use the crystal to save your game. These crystals appear all throughout the world. Exit through the west door. Progress through the hallway and enter the main room. Here, sets of Goblin/Gremlin combos can be encountered by touching the goblins walking around. In the northwest corner of the room is a chest containing an Herb. Exit through the south door.
[glow=red,2,300]Gilden-Rauel Province[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: gargoyle, dwarf, imp
As you enter the overworld area, the sun begins to rise. Time is important, and changes when certain events are completed. Sets of Gargoyle/Imp and Imp/Dwarf enemies can be randomly encountered across the region. Head south to the town of Gilden.
[glow=red,2,300]Gilden[/glow] ITEMS: 50 gold ENEMIES: none
After the brief scene upon entering the village, explore the town and enter Skyal and Arkyal’s house and find a chest containing 50 Gold in the kitchen area. To continue the game, speak to the ninja near the entrance and then to Arkyal. The time of day changes from dawn to day. Save and then leave the village and head east to Rauel.
[glow=red,2,300]Rauel[/glow] ITEMS: crystal, potion ENEMIES: none
Search the town for treasure chests containing a Crystal and a Potion. Talk to the people to find out about the town’s elder, and then talk to Mitchell in the inn to confirm the information. Return to the town and speak with Arkyal, and then head out for Caid Forest, on the eastern edge of the Gilden-Rauel Province.
[glow=red,2,300]Caid Forest[/glow] ITEMS: crystal, 70 gold, steel sword, refined dagger ENEMIES: slime, deathtrap, pegasus, fungus, treant, insectus
Before assisting the elder, it would be a good idea to gather the treasures inside the forest, and then level your characters up to level 2. The Pegasus/Fungus group is good for experience, but the Slime/Deathtrap set isn’t bad either. Treants are nasty enemies at this point in the game, so you should stay clear of those for now. When you’re ready, enter the center of the forest and speak to the giant yellow monster.
INSECTUS
Hit Points: 450 Magic Points: 50 Strength: 18 Agility: 13 Intelligence: 12 Luck: 12 Abilities: Power Up EXP Given: 150 Gold: 120
Insectus is a good boss for the characters at this stage. He’s not too hard, but not too easy either. Power Up also affects Skyal and Arkyal, so take advantage of that. With your new weapons, Skyal and Arkyal’s offensive abilities won’t be as effective, so keep to attacking and heal when necessary. When you defeat Insectus, you’ll either level up to level 3 or be extremely close (assuming you are at level 2). When Insectus dies, talk to the elder and he returns to Rauel. Follow him back to Rauel and talk to him there. The city of Aiden now appears at the eastern edge of Caid Forest. Save and enter Aiden.

[glow=blue,2,300]Aiden[/glow] ITEMS: remedy, 60 gold, extreme elixir, antidote ENEMIES: sidewinder, snake, blue dragon, red dragon, ogre, troll, sea dragon, sea monster
Aiden is a very big city. In the northwest area, the inn and Battle Simulator facilities are available. There are four levels in the Battle Simulator. Easy, which pits you against a Snake and a Sidewinder; Normal pits you against a Red Dragon and a Blue Dragon; Hard pits you against an Ogre and a Troll; and Expert pits you against a Sea Monster and a Sea Dragon. I’d advise you stay away from expert for a while, as you are currently too inexperienced for the battle. Southwest Aiden is home to the shopping plaza, and food items such as Tofu, Spaghetti, Caid Fish, Ramen, Chicken Soup, and Pizza can be bought. There is also a normal shop as well. Make sure to get the Remedy from the chest.
THE AIDEN ACADEMY
In Northeast Aiden, enter the school and speak to all of the students. Answer their questions correctly and they give you an item. The continent is Vargol, there are 4 chests in Caid Forest, the Steel Sword is 5 points stronger than the Iron Sword, and Potions heal the party for 20 points. After answering all of the questions, examine the chest in one of the rooms to find an Antidote, an item that will come in handy fairly soon. There are two other chests in Northeast Aiden, one with 60 Gold and one with an Extreme Elixir. In Southeast Aiden, speak to the cowboy to sum up the information, and enter the theater.
HELPING ERIKA
Speak to Erika to learn that her brother is missing. You only get one chance to answer her question, so if you say no the first time, then you can’t engage the side quest without starting a new game. Say yes if you want to engage the side quest. After that, you’re done in Aiden for the time being, so exit through the south exit.
[glow=blue,2,300]Takai-Surei Province[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: hornet, arachnid, poisonous imp
All of the enemies here specialize in poisonous attacks, so you may want to stock up on Ramen before leaving Aiden. Make your way northeast to Takai, and enter.
[glow=blue,2,300]Takai[/glow] ITEMS: hideout key ENEMIES: katsei, fighter, fighter, miru
Takai may be smaller than Aiden, but there are many events going on here right now. The bonus fights at the Takai Dojo are now open, but become unavailable after the inn event after the Takai Hideout. In order to enter the hideout, speak to the sorcerer conversing with the mayor.
OBTAINING THE HIDEOUT KEY
Rest at the inn before attempting to fight Katsei or you’ll regret it. Katsei is quite tough.
KATSEI
Hit Points: 680 Magic Points: 3000 Strength: 12 Agility: 19 Intelligence: 20 Luck: 15 Abilities: Aqua, Light Sword EXP Given: 130 Gold: 62
Katsei is a tough opponent. Light Sword does a number to your Hit Points, so make sure you have healing items and spells ready. Basically duke it out till he dies, and it might not be a bad idea to use your Extreme Elixir now. While its effect is only temporary, it makes you faster than him for a bit. When he falls, you get the Hideout Key and now have gained access to the Hideout.
TAKAI DOJO
Enter the Dojo at any time from your first arrival at Takai to the time when you complete the Takai Hideout and attempt to fight the opponents. The two fighters are quite powerful, but are nothing compared to the leader. Pay attention while fighting the two fighters, cause that’s the basic style Miru uses. After both fighters go down, attempt Miru.
MIRU
Hit Points: 750 Magic Points: 0 Strength: 30 Agility: 19 Intelligence: 15 Luck: 17 Abilities: none EXP Given: 0 Gold: 140
Miru is the epitome of brute force when it comes to unarmed combat. His attacks do massive damage, and he’s faster than you. He’s tough, so keep healing and fighting and finally take him down. After winning, you get an Extreme Elixir.
[glow=blue,2,300]Takai Hideout[/glow] ITEMS: steel dagger, lost herb ENEMIES: vampire bat, pegasus, centaur, lizard, skeleton, arch lord, godar
The normal enemies here are weak and don’t even need to be bothered with. In the main room, enter the east and west corridors before speaking with the Arch Lord. Enter the rooms off of the east and west corridors to find a chest containing a Lost Herb and a chest with a Steel Dagger, a weapon for Arkyal. Then speak to the samurai.
ARCH LORD
Hit Points: 400 Magic Points: 75 Strength: 18 Agility: 13 Intelligence: 11 Luck: 13 Abilities: Light Sword EXP Given: 60 Gold: 50
The Arch Lord is more of a mini-boss. He’s slow and fairly weak, so you shouldn’t have much trouble taking him down. You are rewarded with a Pizza for defeating him, an item that increases a character’s Strength for a short time.
MEETING WITH THE NINJA
After defeating the Arch Lord, the north hall opens. Enter it and then enter the next room. A cutscene occurs where the ninja from Gilden unmasks himself as Kuromei, and then leaves for Takai. After the scene, head east and then south to face the dungeon’s boss.
GODAR
Hit Points: 650 Magic Points: 150 Strength: 27 Agility: 20 Intelligence: 15 Luck: 12 Abilities: Stone Blast, Light Sword EXP Given: 150 Gold: 70
Godar is a tough enemy. Stone Blast is a strong attack, combined with Light Sword and his already high normal strength; he can cause some major damage. Heal often, but keep on the offensive. Godar won’t go down without a fight. It would be a good idea to use a Pizza on Arkyal, and if you have any Extreme Elixirs they would come in handy too. After he’s defeated, you get a Super Herb. The sun also begins to set.

[glow=purple,2,300]Takai[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: fighter, fighter, miru
You can still attempt the Takai Dojo from when you reenter town until you visit the inn, so if you’re hurting, go back to Aiden and heal if you want to fight in the dojo. Refer to the previous Takai section for information. When you’re done playing, enter the inn.
SETH
When you enter the inn, you automatically go to bed (you don’t heal) and a cutscene occurs. In the morning, rest for real if you wish, then head outside. A man walks up to you and asks you to help find his sister. You automatically agree, and Seth joins the team. Save and head south to the kingdom of Surei.
[glow=purple,2,300]Surei[/glow] ITEMS: potion, lost herb, super herb, extreme elixir, red amulet ENEMIES: rabid feline, shiba, minotaur
Surei is a busy city. Touching the yellow cats throughout the city pits you against three Rabid Feline enemies, but they’re easy. Enter the weapon shop and buy bronze weapons for everybody. Don’t bother with the Lightning Rod; you’ll be getting one for free a little later. The townspeople tell you about a hidden passage somewhere in the city, so enter the shop next to the weapon shop and follow the passage to the other side.
RESCUING MELODY
As soon as you enter the alley, a cutscene occurs. Then you must fight a boss.
SHIBA
Hit Points: 825 Magic Points: 250 Strength: 30 Agility: 23 Intelligence: 16 Luck: 14 Abilities: Light Sword, Tsunami EXP Given: 130 Gold: 40
Shiba isn’t excruciatingly hard, but won’t die too easily either. Keep fighting and use your level 5 magics to take him out. Tsunami isn’t very fun to get hit with, but you should be able to heal and continue fighting. Take him down and then Melody joins your team. Your next mission lies in the town of Kahr, but let’s pay a visit to Surei Castle first.
GETTING THE RED AMULET
At this point in the game, the Red Amulet does nothing for you, but we might as well get it while we’re in the neighborhood. In the Surei Streets, go north into the castle area. Enter the castle. In the first room, go left and then north and down the stairs into the dungeon. Inside the cells are treasure chests containing a Potion, Lost Herb, Super Herb, and Extreme Elixir. Take the stairs on the right side of the first room and examine the bookshelf to learn of a treasure hidden inside the castle. In the first room, take the stairs up to the Throne Room. Speak to either knight next to either hole in the wall. Both of them lead to the same area: the tourist spot. Inside the tourist area you overlook the dungeon leading to the vault. Examining the crate next to the east entrance produces a similar effect as the one in the Gilden Hideout did, providing a passage. Follow the passage and head down the rope. Follow the dungeon and enter the vault.
MINOTAUR
Hit Points: 1,000 Magic Points: 0 Strength: 37 Agility: 22 Intelligence: 25 Luck: 20 Abilities: none EXP Given: 0 Gold: 250
The Minotaur relies on heavy strength and little skill. With four people on your team he should go down fairly easily, but don’t let your guard down. His strength can cause some heavy damage if you don’t heal regularly. After defeating the Minotaur, open the large red chest to acquire the Red Amulet, an item that won’t be used until much later in the game. Actually, you never have to use it, but it allows access to a bonus dungeon later that houses the best weapons in the game. Now, you’re ready to head on out to Kahr.

[glow=orange,2,300]Cavern[/glow] ITEMS: pizza, lost herb, lightning rod, tofu ENEMIES: none
In order to reach the Cavern you must pass through the small, quiescent farm, which lies through the fences south of Surei. South of the farm is a cave. Inside the cavern is an immediate fork. Go south and enter the hall. Enter the next room and get the two items out of the chests. In the next room to the east is a chest containing a Lightning Rod. Return to the main room and head west this time. At the end of the hall is a fork. If you’ve entered the Cavern anytime before saving Melody, a man stops you from going west. If You’ve already saved Melody, then you can head west into another large room. At the back is a slope leading to a chest containing Tofu, and south leads to the Kahr-Hiroku Province. Back in the hall with the fork, heading north leads you to another hall which takes you to the underground city of the mermaids.
[glow=orange,2,300]Toqua[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
There is nothing to do in the city of the mermaids, so play around as long as you like, but then go to the Kahr-Hiroku Province.
[glow=orange,2,300]Kahr-Hiroku Province[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: reptilian, damned souls, genie
Exit the cavern and go west southwest to the town of Kahr. Be careful with the enemies in this region, as they have the ability to cause Numb. Being numb renders you paralyzed, so be careful. The enemies have also leaped in HP, so it might take about four hits to take one down.
[glow=orange,2,300]Kahr[/glow] ITEMS: bronze bow ENEMIES: none
When you enter Kahr, it turns to sunset. The oracle is closed until she returns, so your only option is to stay at the inn. In front of the inn hidden next to a house on the west side is a chest containing a Bronze Bow. Stay at the inn and watch the events that unfold. Seth permanently leaves the team.
THE ORACLE
After the inn events, it becomes dawn. Stay at the inn for real, and then enter the oracle’s house. She finds nothing related to Kuromei, but advises that you visit both Hiroku and Killa. Go southeast to Hiroku.
[glow=orange,2,300]Hiroku[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
Speak to the townspeople to learn of the ninjas in the pagoda. Enter the pagoda and speak to the ninjas. On the third floor, speak with the chief and he tells you of a rogue ninja that attempted to take over Aiden. After the scene and dialogue, you are instructed to return to Aiden. You can attempt the events in Killa now, or wait until you finish the Aiden events. Actually, it may be better to wait. Refer to later sections for details on the Aiden events.
[glow=orange,2,300]Killa[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
Killa is in the fourth province, east of the Kahr-Hiroku Province (through the trees). Inside the village, speak to the mayor to learn of monsters in the graveyard. The graveyard is almost directly east of Killa, so enter it.
[glow=orange,2,300]Graveyard[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
The scene advises you to talk to the ghosts for help. Despite Skyal’s hesitance, the ghosts will not hurt you. Instead they give a set of numbers.
OPENING THE CRYPT
Opening the crypt is difficult without knowing how to decipher the numbers that the ghosts give you. The ghosts, in this order, tell you exactly how to open the crypt:
Southwest corner ghost: Row 3, Column 2, #1 Northeast corner ghost: Row 1, Column 3, #2 Center ghost: Row 2, Column 4, #3 Northwest corner ghost: Row 4, Column 4, #4 Southeast corner ghost: Row 3, Column 5, #5
The numbers at the end mean the order in which you examine the gravestones. Rows go from bottom to top, and columns go from left to right. Upon examining the fifth stone, it becomes a staircase leading into the crypt.
[glow=orange,2,300]Crypt[/glow] ITEMS: 200 gold, lightning rod, holy water, crystal, lost herb, blue amulet ENEMIES: ghost, zombie, hell knight, death reaper
Go north in the first room. Follow the second room hall to the third room. The ghosts down here aren’t as nice as the ones outside, so fight if you want. The enemies take about four or five hits to kill, but their pure STR isn’t very strong. It’s the magic you want to watch out for. In the third room, examine the middle grave in the top row and the door opens. In the next hall, go north and get the two treasures. Return to the hall and go east. Follow the hall until you get to a bigger room with two zombie enemies in it. Open the chest for a Holy Water. Go west and follow the hall into another big room. Examine the bottom grave on the right side to open the bottom door. Go in and get the treasure. Examine the second grave from the top in the left column to open the top door. Enter and get the treasure. Examine the grave in the center of the room to open a staircase. Go down.
TO THE CHAMBER OF THE BEAST (AND THE BLUE AMULET)
Go south, fight or avoid the ghost. Follow the network of halls until you get to the final chamber. You must fight the Death Reaper.
DEATH REAPER
Hit Points: 1,350 Magic Points: 500 Strength: 46 Agility: 23 Intelligence: 22 Luck: 21 Abilities: Demon Slash, Darkness EXP Given: none Gold: 450
This guy is no joke. Depending on if he uses his Abilities, you may have a somewhat easy fight or a devastatingly difficult fight. Darkness damages everybody for about 80-90 points of damage, while Demon Slash is Light Sword on major steroids. Good luck on this one, but with items, you shouldn’t do too bad…good luck. Defeating the Death Reaper allows you to move east into the room with the Blue Amulet. Two down, one more to go. Now go back to Aiden.
[glow=orange,2,300]Aiden[/glow] ITEMS: silver sword ENEMIES: kuromei
Before entering Aiden, give as many good items as you can to Skyal. Enter Aiden.
KUROMEI
An auto event takes over as you walk into Aiden. The other members leave the team and you walk up to Kuromei. After a quick talk, a battle occurs.
KUROMEI
Hit Points: 860 Magic Points: 200 Strength: 25 Agility: 14 Intelligence: 23 Luck: 17 Abilities: Fire EXP Given: 100 Gold: 100
Yes, it’s finally time that you duke it out with the antagonist. Kuromei is a tough opponent, especially since Skyal is fighting by himself. Kuromei doesn’t do much damage, but enough to make you keep an eye on your life. Strike him with Fire Ball attacks and use normal attacks as well. Make sure you have Remedies and Herbs or Lost Herbs. Keep fighting him, and when he finally goes down, he drops a Silver Sword. Arkyal then calls you over to Southwest Aiden.
MEETING GERARD
In Southwest Aiden, talk to the man next to Arkyal to add Gerard to your team. It is now time to leave Vargol for a bit. Get the Red Amulet, get the Blue Amulet, do whatever you haven’t done yet, and then head back through the cavern and south of Hiroku to the bridge to Emir.

[glow=yellow,2,300]Sylt Province[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: werewolf, hound, sparrow, harpy, moose
There’s not much to do here, so go to the town on the east side.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Sylt[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
Upon entering Sylt, go to the inn and rest. Gerard is kidnapped and has been taken to Sylt Mine. Go there after upgrading your weapons at the shop.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Sylt Mine[/glow] ITEMS: pure drops, 500 gold ENEMIES: cyclops, skull, living armor, virk
Fully explore each room, and look for a hidden door in the first hallway. The switch at the north end of the room with the locked door can be reached by going around. Make your way to the end of the mine, and prepare for a boss.
VIRK
Hit Points: 1,420 Magic Points: 200 Strength: 34 Agility: 19 Intelligence: 20 Luck: 20 Abilities: Earth Dance EXP Given: 180 Gold: 150
Virk isn’t extremely difficult; he just takes a while, especially since you only have 3 people. Expect to take a lot of damage, but if you have healing items (and you should) you should be okay. Earth Dance subtracts from his HP every time he uses it, so use that to your advantage. When he’s defeated, Gerard rejoins the team and you are advised to speak to the Sylt mayor.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Sylt[/glow] ITEMS: 1,000 gold ENEMIES: none
As soon as you reenter Sylt, you cannot leave for a while. Speak to the mayor and he rewards you for “saving the city” by giving you 1,000 Gold. Um, okay! Then Arkyal goes into the inn and you get to play around for as long as you’d like until bedtime. Enter the inn and speak to Arkyal when you’re done. The next day you are told to cross the Emir Desert and go to Rya.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Emir Desert[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: raptor, buzzard, pumpkin
The desert is similar to the forest. It’s one big area to explore. Fight enemies if you wish. All you have to do is go to the other side, but you can also enter the circle of tents, and the pyramid.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Caravan[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
The caravan really doesn’t mean much, but it is a place where you can save your game.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Pyramid[/glow] ITEMS: lightning rod, lost herb, holy water, green amulet ENEMIES: raptor, mummy, pharaoh
Fully explore the first big room and find a chest. Go all the way east and enter the next room. Explore the whole dungeon and when you get to a room that looks like a dead end, there’s a set of stairs in the corner that are really hard to see. Follow the passage from there and make your way to the Pharaoh’s chamber.
PHARAOH
Hit Points: 1,850 Magic Points: 550 Strength: 42 Agility: 25 Intelligence: 22 Luck: 28 Abilities: Rapid Slash, Faultline EXP Given: 0 Gold: 500
The Pharaoh is a tough opponent. He shouldn’t be overwhelmingly difficult, but tough nonetheless. Fight hard, and heal often. When he dies, he drops a bottle of Holy Water.
THE GREEN AMULET
Once the Pharaoh is dead, go right and follow the stairs to the green chest containing the Green Amulet. Congratulations! You’ve assembled all three! But what do they mean?
[glow=yellow,2,300]Rya Province[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: werewolf, hound, sparrow, harpy, moose
The trail forks northwest and southwest. Go northwest to the town of Rya.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Rya[/glow] ITEMS: 200 gold, super herb ENEMIES: none
Enter the shop and upgrade your weapons, but don’t bother getting one for Melody. The townspeople are all wondering where their mayor is. Leave the town and take the southwest fork this time.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Rya Cavern[/glow] ITEMS: holy sword, holy dagger, holy axe, holy bow, holy lance, holy water ENEMIES: phoenix
Upon entering the cavern, there is a quick dialogue with the mayor. He has an inkling that the huge boulder blocking the way can be moved magically. But how? He returns to Rya, but you should stay for a bit. If you have all three amulets in your possession, their magic will make the boulder disappear and allow you access to the depths of the cavern. Follow the passage to the very back and confront the Phoenix.
PHOENIX
Hit Points: 2,000 Magic Points: 1,000 Strength: 35 Agility: 24 Intelligence: 32 Luck: 20 Abilities: Fire Ball, Typhoon EXP Given: 0 Gold: 1200
The Phoenix is a mean opponent. When he uses a normal attack he can attack twice, and when he uses magic he causes much damage. Basically, use the same strategy you used against the Pharaoh and the Death Reaper and you should be cool. When the Phoenix dies, you are allowed access to six treasure chests. One has the Holy Sword, the best weapon for Skyal, one has the Holy Dagger for Arkyal, one has the Holy Axe for Gerard, one has the Holy Bow NOT for Melody (but hold onto it), one has the Holy Lance for…who? Hold onto it, ‘cause you’ll want it later, and a bottle of Holy Water. The Phoenix also drops a Phoenix Feather, which revives all dead allies to full health. Return to Rya.
[glow=yellow,2,300]Rya[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
Return to Rya and stay at the inn. In the morning, you are directed to the city of Lyt. Melody leaves the team, which is why you weren’t supposed to give her the Holy Bow. I TOLD you not to!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, leave the town and go south.
more to come soon...

!!!WARNING!!!: This post contains MAJOR spoilers! Do not read unless you want to ruin the end of the game before actually getting there!!!
[glow=teal,2,300]Lyt Province[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: werewolf, hound, sparrow, harpy, moose
Go south and then east to the final city on the continent.
[glow=teal,2,300]Lyt[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: none
Explore the city, and talk to the blue-haired man in East Lyt. This is Derek, and if you agreed to help Erika in Aiden, then he’ll go back to Aiden to see her. When you’re ready to continue, speak to the girl with black hair near the inn. Crystal joins the team. Give her the Holy Bow, and still hold on to the Lance. Crystal accompanies you to the Lyt Mine, where Katsei has taken the mayor.
[glow=teal,2,300]Lyt Mine[/glow] ITEMS: super herb, sacred water ENEMIES: drunken demon, katsei
Examine every room in the dungeon and make your way south to the mini-boss room. There are 2 chests in the first couple of rooms. In the mini-boss room, you must fight the Drunken Demon. He should be a nobody. Defeating him unlocks the south door into the boss room.
KATSEI
Hit Points: 1,850 Magic Points: 3,000 Strength: 22 Agility: 19 Intelligence: 20 Luck: 15 Abilities: Tsunami, Earth Dance, Magic Arrow EXP Given: 150 Gold: 150
Katsei has definitely gotten stronger since your last fight in Takai, but he shouldn’t be very difficult at all, especially if you have the Holy weapons. Watch out for Magic Arrow, as it does devastating damage. Tsunami hurts everyone, but it’s a semi-weak attack. Earth Dance hurts him as well as you, so don’t worry too much. Take him down and follow the mayor back to Lyt.
[glow=teal,2,300]Lyt[/glow] ITEMS: 1,000 gold, phoenix feather ENEMIES: kuromei
Return to Lyt and speak to the mayor. He gives 1,000 Gold for saving him. Rest at the inn.
THE NINJA STRIKES AGAIN
In the morning, the mayor is dead and the team splits up to look for clues. Skyal encounters Kuromei again and is forced to fight him again.
KUROMEI
Hit Points: 1,550 Magic Points: 600 Strength: 30 Agility: 24 Intelligence: 23 Luck: 17 Abilities: Fire Ball EXP Given: 100 Gold: 100
Kuromei has also grown stronger since your last encounter. Use the same strategy as before, just use healing items more. Make sure to have MP-refilling items too, cause you’ll probably want to use Raging Inferno once or twice for damage purposes. When you win he drops a Phoenix Feather, and a dialogue occurs. Kuromei says to meet him in front of the East Lyt fountain tonight, and then he disappears. After the dialogue with Arkyal, return to the inn and wait until nighttime.
THINGS TO DO AT NIGHT
At night, you are not confined to the city of Lyt; you can go all the way back to Gilden if you’d like. The only place that changes at night is Aiden, however, and if you got Derek to go back, you may want to visit the huge city again.
THE THIRD PHOENIX FEATHER
In Aiden, enter the theater and speak to Derek. He gives you the third and final Phoenix Feather in the game. You can also enter the show room and see that “The Chronicle of the Clown” is being performed, and most of the townspeople are there to watch. After that, you’re done in Aiden, and you can go back to Lyt.
KUROMEI’S SECRET
Meet Kuromei in front of the East Lyt fountain like you promised, and he tells you a good deal of juicy information. He also tells you to return to the inn and leave a note for your team, then go to his hideout. When you return to the inn, Skyal leaves the party and the rest of the team wakes up to find him missing. After the cutscene, it’s time to wrap up the game. Leave Lyt and go southwest to the hideout.
[glow=teal,2,300]Hideout[/glow] ITEMS: none ENEMIES: skyal kain, skyal
Upon entering the Hideout, speak to the man next to the Save Crystal to add Septiego to your team. Follow the passage to the final room and watch the events that unfold…
[glow=white,2,300]SKYAL KAIN[/glow]
Hit Points: 2,650 Magic Points: 3,000 Strength: 75 Agility: 30 Intelligence: 34 Luck: 38 Abilities: Fire Ball, Raging Inferno, Heal EXP Given: 180 Gold: 0
Skyal Kain is a tough enemy indeed. He has all of his normal spells except for Recover and Fire, neither of which matter anymore anyway. His problem is that because he’s getting bombarded with attacks that do over 100 damage each, Heal really won’t heal him too much. He has high STR and lots of MP, so watch out. With the Holy weapons equipped, you may be able to cut through him without using items, which is a very good thing. DO NOT go all out, cause even when you defeat Skyal Kain, it’s not over…
[glow=white,2,300]SKYAL[/glow]
Hit Points: 3,200 Magic Points: 3,000 Strength: 85 Agility: 34 Intelligence: 43 Luck: 47 Abilities: Fire Ball, Raging Inferno, Heal EXP Given: 0 Gold: 0
Skyal isn’t much different the second time around, except his HP, STR and a few other stats have increased. He can also use a Holy Water whenever he wants to restore 100 HP and 100 MP. Now you can go all out, cause once you defeat Skyal the second time, it’s over.
THE DEATH OF SKYAL KAIN
After defeating Skyal twice, there is a cutscene which leads to Skyal’s death. Afterward, a text box appears giving you some final information, and then the game ends. Congratulations!
