im thinking you shouldnt use frames. use divs or tables to set up your page appearance. frames tend to lock the user up. if you do use frames, make sure all links open a new window, and remove the old frameset. if you need any help w/ it, let me know.
oh, and there are tons of better free webhosts out there that are better then geocities. if you want me to send you a few links, lemme know.
finally, im going to move this topic to domain chatter, our forum for general conversation.

I, too, am interested in what sites you'll be listing. I like Geocities myself (where my web site is at), but if there's something better that has features I may want, I might move to it. Though, creating that Jester's Hunt site was such a hassle (arranging it, that is). I'd hate to have to do that all over again.

ill put the links up later (maybe tomorrow or tuesday), but i wanted to let you know about a special deal that www.dreamhost.com is having. go here for details: p081.ezboard.com/frpgmakerpavilionboardfrm8.showMessage?topicID=14883.topicin case your unaware, 10 bucks for a year is an outrageously cheap price. im thinking of doing it. if you cant afford that, i will be posting those links up in the next few days, along w/ some friendly advice on what to look for in webhosting.

AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! DOUBLE POST!!!!!!! now that thats out of the way, some good freehosts: www.freepgs.com (charges a onetime 2.50 fee, but they have unlimited bandwidth, and a plethora of allowed scripts) www.freewebs.com (generic, simple, everyone knows about it) www.000k.com (probably the best ive come across. limited bandwidth, but tons of allowable code and so forth) www.bravenet.com (they have tons of tools for the beginning web designer, and offer free hosting) www.be-hosted.com (i think this is where doan is hosted. he pays for his, but they have a free host. seems to be pretty good service) www.5gigs.com (this place has the best plan ive ever heard of, but they havent ever been accepting apps so i could check it out) www.hostrave.com (this is the obligatory. an extensive application process, but if you get accepted, the hosting is excellent. and its free.) www.newbiesite.com (a good place for beginners) please note that all of these sites offer free webhostingalso, you can go to several webhost directories (just google it)
