I'm gonna get MGS3 too. I asked at the blood and iron boards and someone said there's much more playing than 2, since 2 was like 6.5 hours of cutscenes and 4 hours of playing. Tell what you think about if you like.

Yeah I got MGS3 but not for Christmas, I got it the week it came out! I couldn't wait. I'm at the final huge Facility and I haven't bothered to beat it with all the new games I have, RPGM2, family events, my website, learning JavaScript, etc... I should do that today but idk.... Great game though I love it. There's this cool trick to beating "the end", not the end of the game but the boss named the end. Just save in the middle of the battle and reset the clock in the menu to like a week later and you'll already have him beaten.

well, you can use java w/ html as well, kinda...
i was under the impression that you were learning java. javascript is pretty easy, but not as customizable as java imo. i just learned it recently. and when i was tellin you about me and doan knowing it, i was referring to java. doan probably knows javascript better then i do, but im learning.

Jared and I bought a new computer about three weeks ago, so... that was pretty much our Christmas present. We did buy each other a few small gifts though, in the spirit of things...
I got the first season of Home Movies on DVD, a semi-obscure show which only airs on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim at 1:30 A.M. on either Sundays or Mondays, I can't remember right off hand. I also got Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" on CD, and "Total Recall" on DVD. (I've actually never seen it, but Jared thought I might enjoy watching it for a change, having seen the Terminator movies about half a dozen times each.)
I got Jared a book called "Lies my Teacher Told Me" (he's into historical accuracy, and such) and a copy of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, now that we have a computer that will actually run it.
Edit: I almost forgot... Tyler, my ball python, got a late Christmas gift as well. We bought him a new 30 gallon tank last night with about three times as much floor space as his old tank, and an extra heat light for winter. He's been in absolute snake heaven all day.
