Yeah I did. I went on top of the tallest skyscraper, and there's a parachute, so I run and jump off, and your like in freefall for 20 seconds, then before you hit the bottom you should release the parachute but I just say screw it and try to land on cars. It's fun! Then I got a motorcycle and brought it up there and when you land, your still alive!!! I did it 4x in a row with the same bike!!!

Lol, nash, i'll have to try that some time:) I went on the pyramid on the third island, by the Four Dragons casino, screamed that I was donkey kong and blasted the pedestrians into bits of nothing, then, went for how long i could go before I got busted (I cannot get the final star highlighted...ugh!) GTA though messed up my bros' PS2, it broke in the middle of a mission that was hard too. (think....the hardest mission=the romote control plane one for the geeky guy) so yeah....sigh.....*blames it for breaking Kingdom Hearts*...

Well, the craziest thing I've done is steal a plane and go north to vegas before you are supposed to leave the city. Once you cross the line, you get a 4 star rating... but I still managed to go into a clothing store up there.
I wasn't really a fan of how messed up the streets were. I liked the nice square buildings of the first one. I didn't buy it though, my friend has it.

I don't really care for the GTA series, but they can be fun when you're bored. As for me, when my friend brings it over, I like to play pool. I discovered a little glitch (dunno if it's on the cheat section). Right after you strike the white ball, press /_\ and you'll go back to positioning your strike. This means you can have infinite turns. Just be careful though... if you scratch the white ball, the game will freeze.

I entered the cars can fly cheat code and cars can drive on water. Then entered the tank code and start flying in a tank just just shooting everything I could see.

My favorite thing to do is put in the VTOL cheat, fly to Las Venturas and shoot down all the other Hydras that come after me.

GTA: VC and GTA: SA were both awesome games, I own them both. I beat them both within two weeks (each). I got hooked so bad, I spent at least 4 hours a day on them. lol. Great games.
As for what Tinbok said...I completely agree! I hated that mission for Zero where you fly that stupid plane to blow up those messengers. Took me like 50 tries to beat it. I would give it 4 stars, 4 1/2 if it wasn't for that.
Unfortunately, there is basically NO replayability with these games though, keeping it from ever reaching 5 stars.

No replay! That's the whole primise of these games, that once you manage to beat the game you can still run around the city and cause chaos! What better reason is there to play? The main selling point of the GTA games isn't the story or the missions, but the ability to do what you want, when you want, how you want, only being limited by the engine of the game. I love the GTA's I played Vice City up until the day that San Andreas came out. And I'll play San Andreas until the next installment arrives!

Replayability as in starting over and going a different route is what I meant.
But, yeah, I still play GTA: SA, but it's just not as much fun as it was when I was doing the missions and causing chaos on the side. (had lots of fun robbing houses ;D) Except for Zero's plane mission, anything but Zero's plane mission, please God leave that out of the next game.
P.S. The best part of that game was when you saw Sweet arrive at the airport. I think I got adrenaline at that part, I was waiting for it for so long.

To me, the gta series is a little overrated, its gameplay mechanics are all flawed, gunplay, driving, etc. the games are okay, but not worthy of the perfect scores it keeps on getting, a perfect game is more like..... resident evil 4.

True, RE4 was a spectacular game, but you really can't compare two different types of games.
No one is doubting the flaws of GTA, but its an unfortunate, yet required, trade off. Since GTA takes parts of RPGs, FPSs, Action Adventures, Racers, and little bit of Platformers, it can't provide a complete experience in any of them. But the job it does of combining them is superb.
I think the joy of GTA is the mindless chaos. When I'm bored and want to race around - GTA is good for that.
When I wanna blow stuff up - GTA is good for that.
When I want to storm a local police station, steal a shotgun from the weapons locker and kill every cop in the station - GTA is good for that.
This game makes for great release. Although, on a side note, I have to mention this:
Once, after a long run of Vice City, I was driving (in real life) and I saw a motortcyclist in the oncoming traffic lane. For a small split second my mind yelled "BOWLING FOR BIKERS" (my favorite past time in VC) and I almost turned into his lane to hit him.
Thankfully I'm not a complete moron and realized that I wasn't playing a game!
So, the games are great, some people don't like them and some love them, but what matters is that we enjoy it. Mindless violence will always have a home with me and my GTA.

So, I was doing some turf wars around 3am and all of a sudden a car goes through a building and leaves a hole in the wall! This was so weird. I haven't tested yet to find out if this hole is always there (I'll let you know tomorrow), but its located near the Pig Pen strip club in NE Los Santos. I can't remember the exact location, although I have it makered at home, so I'll get back to you. But it is in the area I circled in red.
I could walk right inside the hole into the building, fall through the floor and then reappear damage free on a road next to the building. I used this to my advantage and began making triple insane stunts by falling through the hole. I wish I had a digital camera, you guys need to see this.

I got home yesterday and I suddenly realized where this was, but revealing it would be a spoiler. This hole isn't suppposed to appear until the near end of the game. Hopefully it appearing now won't glitch me up later.
