I've thought about this before.
I'm probably second to (or something) jugem with music, second to (or something) dungeon warden with the DBS, second (or something) to final rune with map making, and second (or something) to doan with good-looking detailed towns/others. (My next demo will have/has the music and map drastically improved)
Weaknesses are for sure stuff I've never done like tactical/action CBS or complex mini game things, and any non-buildings made in the dungeon editor, and VFX for non-battle things.

heh, Will, I am looking forward to playing your game . I love hearing custom made music on rpgm2, it brings a nice quality to the game My weakness is suprisingly not scripts, its map making, dungeon making and Bldg making. *they take too long and is boring!, i like seeing things come to life because i told them to (scripts)*

My expertise is cut-scenes and scripts. I can make lots of VFX's come/go/stay at my command. I can also just sit down and hammer at th system for hours on end.

Sometime, hopefully during the next month, I'll have a demo out of TG and it'll show off some pretty sweet town and dungeon based maps I've been working on.

i'd have to say my area of expertise is in using the presets to make everything and not being creative at all. of course i'm joking (hehe not really). let's see...what can i do good...hmmm...nothing. Maybe coming up with dialogue...maybe not...i can make pretty good character models, tho, just by using default swatches, if that counts...what else?...can't make custom maps for my life...always wind up making enemies too weak...changing menu and battle systems? yeah, right...hmmm...i guess i suck at everything no, seriously, i do enough to get by but can't do any fancy stuff, so... -the smurf

I guess everyone knows I'm good at scripting and using the DBS. I'm pretty good at using RPG Maker2 in general. There is noting I can't do, although I'm not the best at everything because I don't use everything as much as others do.

I know I'm not the best, but I believe I am pretty good at scripting. I've created some pretty awesome spells and such with it.
I guess I'm all right with the VFX Editor, as well. I have some potential with the Map Editor.
All in all, I believe scripting may be my area of expertise.
Edit:
Oh, and smurf. It is rather difficult coming up with a good balance in stats between the enemies and your characters. However, if you know how the battle system works or make your own, and write down the possible outcomes of each battle, then it would be a lot more easier.

I think I'm best at coming up with ideas, with a close second going to making the stuff happen. Like just recently, I started brainstorming ideas for a Metroid clone on RPGM1. I know how I'd be able to get it to work, too. Heck, if it weren't for RPGM1's rather limiting amount of sprites you can import, I actually might work on it. But as it stands, having only one enemy type besides a few bosses would be a bit boring. And along with that, even if I could throw in other regular enemies, they'd pretty much all have the same movements of left-right. But that's my favorite part of RPGM1, working with the limitations, as long as it's not hopeless to get around those limitations. I've also come up with ideas like a couple puzzle games, one semi-puzzle game where you're supposed to somehow lure escaped robots into a container to transport them back to your lab, a game similar to Lode Runner except with a few new concepts, an RPG1 game that used a custom world map (doesn't sound like much, but it was pretty decent considering RPGM1 wasn't meant to have traditional world maps), and some RPG ideas (creating stories; love creating stories, so much that I sometimes wonder how much I could earn writing a novel) with some interesting ideas for battle systems (one of which is kinda like a Strategy RPG where you set traps and ambushes in front of incoming enemy troops so that they can't reach your commander, or vice versa; actually, that one was almost made, except I couldn't think of that one last trap to fill in that empty spot on the list).
My weakest area is definately interior decoration. I just can't make insides of buildings look interesting. Dungeons, yeah, I could throw an overlooking cliff here, a rope bridge there, maybe a waterfall near it, but insides I just can't do a whole lot beyond tables, chairs, and beds. Especially in the middles of the room. The walls I could probably fill up if I'm given enough stuff, but my rooms always seem so empty otherwise. And if a house has more than one floor, then I'm going to have a real problem. There's also the map creation on RPGM2, but that's mostly because I haven't fiddled around with it enough.
EDIT: No wait, I take that back. My weakest area is definately putting these ideas into a game. I come up with so many, yet I can almost never get very far past the planning stages. I almost feel like I'd be better off making these ideas and giving them to someone to work on them for me, but I kinda worry that they won't turn out right if I'm not closely involved with development.

i dont know that i really have an expertise in any area of rpgm2. i like to write, but im not that good at it. im a decent scripter. i am horrible with the map editor. my decorating is with my style (bland)...
if anything, im just good for advice and general how to, and maybe a little unorthodox scripting.
