I am very excited for this movie, but I am also very scared, but odds are that its gonna be good... Its gonna be full CGI, based on the old Mirage series (which means its going back to its darker roots.) And written/directed by Kevin Munroe! All while barely holding a PG rating. I am very excited for this film, I am glad that they are also getting old tmnt writers/creators on board for this, they got this thing on track. These guys are my freaking heroes, so I cant be any happier that its in the right hands.

I am glad that they are also getting old tmnt writers/creators on board for this, they got this thing on track. You mean Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman (gotta love him for what he did on behalf of the late, great, Vaughn Bode) made up? I thought they'd never work together again! That's what they said anyhow. It's funny how people call the early Toitles comix "dark" because when they came out I thought they were hysterical and a welcome light hearted take on things Frank Miller made cliche. The first issue is even dedicated to Miller and Jack " Still The King" Kirby (They may not have used the " Still The King" phrase, but that's just how I type his name... I can't help it... well, maybe I could, but I don't wanna help it!). Well, I hope you are less let down by this than I was with Loonatics. That started off awful and got worse. Just be sure to sacrifice small rodents at Sunrise and Sunset every day (two on Solstices and Cross Quarter days) until the movie comes out. I forgot to do that for Loonatics and look what happened! Peace.

Just as long as they keep there personatlities intact, ill be fine. I am a big fan of almost everything tmnt, and I couldnt be happier that they are making a new movie of it. Anyways Ill be sure to make my daily sacrifices just to make sure the movie wont suck.
Edit: And I dont mean darker in the way that you think, I mean darker in what the Mirage series was to the Archie series. Though I read both, now that I am older I have more apreciation for the cooler grittier art style, and sense of humor.

I have a friend who likes the turtles. He'll be psyched to hear this. Nothing too spectacular for me, but I may just check it out when it comes out.
