Cool, I just got done posting to your Technical Help Q. It took a while so I noticed you already took off. Keep me updated on how my game goes. Where you are, where you get stuck, what ya think. I do have the first 3 dungeon's strategy guide map. It doesn't spoil anything so don't worry, it just sort of shows you where everything is and where to go next. If you really get stuck ona puzzle, nobody better to ask then the creator. And actually the first dungeon has probably one of the hardest puzzles, not because it's that confusing, it's just a lot of running around and com ing back to the same room from a different direction.

I have a suggestion, just make a variable that saves each party members location via "x,y" with their each unique variable. Then on the sphere grid map for the enter script have it match the xy of where they last were. It'll be a similiar script to my co-op mode if you try it out. You could have each character on their own grid, or have one big grid in which all characters would be on.

A lot of the Japanese use a certain amount of English... I'm assuming that it's because of new terms and specific titles that they don't have proper character's in their language for since every character is a word. I notice this with all my import games, there's a lot of names and options that appear in English.
Really all agetec did was hide the Japanese font set in the game and set the default screen to the english characters for typing. All the Japanese characters still exist but in order to use them you have to access the source code of your save and change them.
For example let's take your Farm life game. The beginning of the code has
"Ps2PowerSave6RJ... The Farm /Natha"
Notice how you can make out parts like the title... Unfortunately I only have your compact version of your save, with my online up-loader that doesn't compact the save file I can see more of the actual code.
In theory you should be able to edit this code and save it then add special characters and other otherwise impossible things to your game. I wish I could find the proper syntax for the /\ button icon lol.

I liked it a lot but impressed isn't the right word. We all know stuff like that is possible. It just takes the time, heart, and knowledge to do it. So perhaps "excited" or "glad" or "enthused" to see it. It took a lot of time and it looks really fun, wish I could play....

"And Nash, I'm running most of the game (well, the action parts) using action scripts, so that's how I accomplish it. Instead of controlling the party, you're actually controlling an event. This allows me to let the player tap the d-pad to face a direction, or press the d-pad to move the character. I hate having to go back a square and then forward again just to change the direction you're facing without moving forward into an enemy. And pressing square + dpad to do that is still a bit annoying. So that's why I chose to do things this way."~JUGEM
I had this idea at one time. I also have a semi-way of doing it in Z:LA. Which is to allow no movement, and have pressing a directional button face you that direction then allow free movement until you stop, then apply the no movement again. But I don't think I'll even need to add this to my latest ACBS, since like you first main weapon will be a sword...and that will have a range in front of you one so you'll be able to walk right up to enemies. But we'll see.

I find this exciting. I loved Vanished Nights. And with you, me, and bigfoot all working on top ACBS's It will definately add some awesome titles to the game list and maybe motivate each other to make it extremely impressive almost in an atempt to outdo one another.
Not entirely sure how your gunna do you full button program without using the vehicle enter map thing. The only way I've gotten mine to work is through the vehicle being there. But you can do cool speed effects and stuff when you have the vehicle.
My game has a battle system...but seriously needs a story. We'll see what I can come up with...
Good Luck!

Don't know if it will help ya but I found a way for 100% uninterrupted music, and to do a content script at any point in time. This can really add to any game environments, like in zelda I want to have walls come in and crush you! Since I can froce the player to be pushed back by a moving object this way and then have a crushing animation, It'll be awesome. Or forced time events are all open too.

too bad I can't view the Pav :-(
EDIT: Oh and is there actually a button hold in this game or is it faked? I know a few ways to fake it, and I know how to make an actual for the directional buttons.

Hopefully today Doyleman has or will put up your game. I can test play and see. You say it's not with a code? So I can access it and looked what you've done scripting wise. I'm sure with a little time I'll be able to figure out the gist of it. So yeah...(I may not mind continueing it for you but idk....)

Oh I hope you pop in soon! I'ld like to get that save for the Zelda theme. It'ld be nice to hear it before I started it lol. BTW have you thought of letting somebody continue your game? I'm sure if you just posted what you had in store for the rest of it, someone could take it over.... me? ;D
I'll be done with my Zelda:LA game in short due time, I was planning on starting Mana Craft but i would be willing to detour over to something else, and we're both very good at programming the Interactive style of things.

Hey how did you get the event's Z axi to be in the right location? I know I can get the party to match the z axi cause you can add to current. But with events I don't think you can....i think that was my prob before...? maybe...

Nice work, I'm glad another is implementing the Zelda Style game! Oh and I heared Blood Knight is working on one too! I wish you the best of luck on it. I really did and am enjoying my Zelda Game, making and playing. And I'm planning to add a 2 person vs Battle! turn based of course....but still very cool.

I think this one depends more on the person for what they say. I person relatively happy with life will feel the other sex has it worse, after all they've made it through all their struggles and are still fine. While an unhappy person will say they've had to deal with so much and they have it worse, especially if they have future sex hardships they fear. Personally IMO the sex that has it the worst is the Hermaphrodite! Dealing with a little of both and a weird feeling of not belonging. But TFR said I can't say that already so fine I'll remain choiceless on this one.

I believe in Post-Natal abortion for the first 18 years. 1.) Since we all essentially have organs we can live without, would you gives one of yours away to some stranger (not family/friend) that needed it?
2.) Why or why not?
3.) And, would you put a price tag on your organs?
I myself can't be sure whether I could give up one of my kidneys or a lung to save some one or not.You completely contradict yourself. Your very first one had to do with saving anothers life, and now your changing your mind... And I know this is your topic but you should ask some on "genre-centrism" and "choice".

I've had this game since the day it came out and I only have one complete title which sucks balls. I've started a lot of really cool titles and stuff I just have a problem with the whole completing a game before a new idea consumes me....
But keep hard at this game. I wanna play it before my life crashes around me...which could be any day.

I'm waiting for CompSci class to start right now but in the meantime I can give you some general info. Computer AI is not an easy area. What I use for AI is a mood setter. You do a check to see what "mood" the enemy is in. This can check such stats as HP, PlayerHP, Ratio HP, MP Distance from party and almost anything really. After analyzing what "mood" they are in you need to set the script for their actions based on their mood whether it may be running away, melee attacking, etc..
*class starting*
